So just to confirm what I use at the “coal-face right now.
Asset Repository/CMDB/Process == Service Desk (ITAM or universal license applied).
Data entry into Asset Repository == Service Desk data import or manual data entry.
Asset Discovery and data capture == (Ivanti Endpoint Manager and optionally Data Analytic) and/or SCCM
So basically Service Desk is you process and asset repository and other Ivanti or external tools get the data which you can then import.
Other, better tools may be on the drawing board and/or in development but this is what we use in the “here-and-now”!

This would be helpful
Thank you and God bless
Hope this document helps: How to Build a Legacy Agent for Windows XP and Server 2003
Hi Jay, Could you provide a bit more information on this idea please? Thank you Anita
Hallo MEL
Danke für deine Antwort. Es war mein Fehler. Ich konnte die DC's nun finden.

Hallo Nordin, den link zum Download der offenen Beta findest Du hier: https://community.ivanti.com/thread/61037
Just on another note we 'have' to use the forwarding model as we use a security product on the network that would require us to add every possible PXE 'server' into a configuration for pre-authentication.
Basically we would need to add every PC into the pre-auth config which would be a nightmare and defeat the purpose of the security product.

So just throwing this out there.
We are currently on 2016.3 SU3 (Soon to be SU5)
We plan to move to 2017.3 early next year.
Out current server and database has been upgrade a few times now and I am not convinced all is well with the database. (I have a call open with support who are going though the DB and have found inconsistencies)
What I was wondering was is it possible to do a nice clean install of 2017.3 and then just import certain data from the DB instead of the whole thing?
Users is not a problem as we use AD groups so it would be more inventory data, patch history, package data, etc.
Just a thought.
Hallo zusammen,
besten Dank für eure Ideen!
@Frank
Danke für den Hinweis, habe ich gleich gefunden und kann da so gut übernehmen.
@Mel
Also kein Grund zur Panik. Aber ich denke, du solltest beim Support anrufen, Update-Problemen im Forum auf die Spur zu kommen ist schwer und langwierig.

Hello,
I can't export data from "view records" in other language than english.
In the Xtraction.Web.log I get the following error:

When I change the user language to english the Export works.
Is this not possible? Or is there something to change in the configuration?
Hi, this is a short question with a very long answer
If you haven't already looked at this, try the elearning videos as they can help by introducing you to the basic functionality. E-Learning Systems and Security Management
If you haven't already been on a training course and you are going to be responsible for your environment then going on one of the Boot Camp courses would have great benefit.
Just remember that any training course is the beginning of your learning; Management Suite/Endpoint Manager is extremely powerful and flexible so any training will just give you a foundation from which to build upon.
You can also talk to partners such as ourselves that can go more in-depth in certain areas than standard training but it is well worth getting the foundations laid first.

You have a license for the wrong product. You have installed Endpoint Manager (powered by LANDESK) when your license is for Endpoint Security (powered by HEAT).
Look at the downloads for HEAT and you should find the right product in there.
