Hi Community!
I am looking for advice regarding HEAT Development Projects and perhaps if anyone has used them, how you went about managing this.
This is currently my main concern as we haven't used projects before but given the current project I am tasked with, there have been a lot of changes to the non-production system so I emphasised we need to look into this feature further.
To provide some context, at the moment we are using an unorthodox setup, perhaps wrongly so, where we have Staging, UAT and Prod tenants. Our Staging site is essentially ignored, for lack of a better word, and all the work I am doing is performed on UAT. I have suggested testing this process by migrating the UAT setup onto Staging.
From what I can see, each transaction details is contained in a transaction set, which can then be assigned to a project. Should these sets be managed separately in some way? At the moment, there is an ever-growing list of transactions.
What things do not get transferred (have you noticed anything additional not explicitly detailed in any documentation)?
Did the procedure run smoothly - where there any 'quirks' that required attention post-migration?
Any advice/tips would be very much appreciated

My customer get this timeout expired while opening either menu or ticket on webaccess eventhough we already set the connection timeout value to 1000 and connection to database is succeeded.

I'm reaching out because I've come across an interesting issue.
Symptoms:
I administer the knowledge management module to our department and I'm having difficulty with results only showing for one single group.

It appears to be a permission based issue. I have had affected staff members try on multiple devices and using multiple browsers and yet the same issue still arises.

Managed to resolve this folks by following these steps:
To specify knowledge domains for groups:
1. In the Administration component, on the User Management tree, open the required group.
2. On the Actions list, click Manage Knowledge Domains.
The Manage Knowledge Domains dialog appears.
3. In the Available Knowledge Domains list, select the required domain then click .
The Knowledge domain category is added to the Selected Knowledge Domains list.
NOTE: If you select the parent category, all of its child categories are automatically added. If you do not want to
include parent categories, then you can navigate to the specific category and add that on its own.
4. Repeat as required, then click OK.
5. Click SAVE.
Okay, ich dachte zwar Wert ist Wert (da auf verschiedenen PCs gleich), aber die Erklärung passt zu meinem Problem.
Als Idee hätte ich ja nun noch, die Firewall zu aktivieren und einfach alles freigeben nach dem Schema "any2any", hattest du das mal getestet?

So habe ich mir auch gedacht. Ivanti signiert und dann zurücksetzt. Nur leider ist bei uns werden keine Skripts zugelassen. Es gibt keine Police für signierte scripts. Admin wollen das nicht haben. Wir sind im Gespräch darüber.

Edit: Hab den Key in der Registry gefunden und mit slmgr /ipk <key> importiert, danach mit slmgr /ato aktiviert (/act gibt es nicht!?). Bin aber weiterhin auf dem KMS-Channel? Noch Ideen?
Edit: Hab den Key jetzt mit PowerShell ausgelesen und mit slmgr /ipk <key> importiert, danach mit slmgr /ato versucht zu aktivieren, bekomme aber 0x80072EE7 zurück!
Edit: Jetzt hat es funktioniert, allerdings nur manuell. Benötige doch mal deine Hilfe zum Auslesen des Keys vom BIOS und der Übergabe im escript!

I have a Service Desk setup based on a 2017.1 OOTB DB where the main authentication method for webaccess is "Integrated", and this is working just fine for all of the domain users; I have set up another instance for webaccess with "Explicit" authentication for test purpose and I'm using it for a couple of users I have created locally; and this is working fine as well; one strange thing is that domain users are able to log in to webaccess using the "Explicit" instance just using the user name, with no password; any idea on how to disable this?
Is Landesk 2016.3 compatible with SQL Server 2017?
