Regarding above Incident that you have logged with us, this has now been assigned to me and I have read through your description.
I believe what is happening is that the attribute is set to be adjusted for time zone. Meaning it will show the time as according to the time zone that you are currently in.
When you have a date field that is showing only date and not time, the time will automatically be set to 00:00:00.
Dubai is 3h ahead of UK and so if you were to log in as a user with Dubai time zone and select 8th August, in the background this would save as: 08.08.14. 00:00:00.
In England , which is 3h behind this would be: 07.08.14. 21:00:00
It would still be the same time, just in two different time zones.
