Is this truly malware?  

You can upload the file to https://www.virustotal.com/ to have it scanned against ~ 40 different AV engines to verify if it is truly malware.

If it is truly malware, you need to figure out how it keeps getting your computers infected.

Sophos should be stopping this from happening.
