Hello, recently installed a new 9.6 install on a new Core, and am in the testing phase. One of the first steps is to get the scheduler started, so it can connect to the devices, but I cannot for the life of me get it going. Here's what I've tried (on a Win 2012 R2 box):
- Verified the account used on the old core is not locked ou
- Tried that account (domain\user) with password in Configure --> Services --> Scheduler tab --> Change Login
-- When I pressed Apply and it attempted to restart the service, I recevied the error: "Services Configuration is unable to start the service"
- In the same place, I tried my own domain account, and received the same error
- I also tried the first account with my own as an alternate credential. I received the same error
- In the service itself under computer management, i configured the Scheduler's logon with the same account used with the old core, trying to start the service gave me this error: "The LANDesk Scheduler Service service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs."
- I tried my own domain account here, and while it took longer to verify and start, I received this error: "Windows could not start the LANDesk Scheduler Service service on Local Computer. Error 1069: The service did not start due to a logon failure" despite it working fine loging in anywhere else.
Very confused here, any help would be appreciated!
