Hi,
When you create a Filter in Query and Report Designer, the values that you want to see in the Filter result is the Object that you will need to base your Filter on.
The value that you want to filter your Filter by, is the value you will need to select in the 'Filter By' option. This is also the same value as the window you are showing the filter on.
For example, if you have a Child Object to Configuration Item called: Laptop, and you want to see a filter at the bottom of your Incident window showing you all laptops, you will need to base your filter on Configuration Item / Laptop and you will need to filter your filter by Incident Management / Incident.
