Not that I am aware of. To get a hot fix the customer will need to be on support and maintenance and you will need to make a good case as to why they couldn't simply upgrade if there is a fix in a later release. One issue I'm not sure our friends at LD are always aware of is that when a new release is deployed some customers will insist on a full UAT. This means the cost of upgrade is way more than just the time for someone to do the upgrade. You also need to include the time, expenses and potential travel and risk for deploying and then completely retesting a new release. A patch doesn't have this issue for most people, although again there are exceptions. If you are in a hurry, I'd push your customer to do the upgrade as they will get other stuff fixed as well and quite rightly patches have to take their place in the queue
